DANNY ARNOLD (Mike Ferris) is thrilled to be making his Arizona Broadway Theatre debut in Hands on a Hardbody! KAT BAILES (Cindy Barnes) is so happy to return to ABT for this fantastic show! An Arizona native and graduate of ASU and AMDA, Kat regularly works at theaters all around the Valley. Some favorite recent productions include Church Basement Ladies (ABT), Bullets Over Broadway (Phoenix Theatre), Fiddler on the Roof (ABT), Lucky Stiff (ABT), and Sweet Charity (ABT). Thank you to Cass, Kiel, Kurtis, Rob, and the entire creative team and cast for this wonderful opportunity. And thanks especially to my late grandmother, who gave me her old Ford Taurus when I was young and poor, so that I never had to try to win a car in a contest.
GEOFF BELLISTON (Frank Nugent) is ecstatic to be back on the ABT stage again so soon after having just killed it in Oliver! (Bill Sykes). Previous favorite roles include Ghost of Christmas Present in A Christmas Carol (ABT/HTC), Shrek in Shrek the Musical (ABT), Governor/Innkeeper in Man of La Mancha (Westchester Broadway), Camber in Foolerie (NYMF), Dave in Full Monty (ABT, Mac Haydn), and Feldzieg in Drowsy Chaperone (ABT). Geoff recently has been getting into the voice acting world as well, and can be heard in Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V and the upcoming animated series Adventures in Duckport. Many, many thanks to my second family here at Arizona Broadway, my first family – the Belliston clan, and all of my friends in my “Entourage.” This one’s for you Annie Jo!
HANNAH BENTLEY (Heather Stovall) is delighted to be back at ABT for Hands on a Hardbody! She is an Arizona native currently based in New York City. Hannah studied vocal performance with David Britton at Arizona State University. Favorite roles at ABT include Emily in A Christmas Carol, Fantine in Les Misérables, Suzy in Winter Wonderettes, and Liza in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. She spent the last several summers working at Quisisana in Maine where she most recently portrayed Barbra Streisand and Idina Menzel in Forbidden Broadway. When she is not onstage, she can be
found traveling, hiking, and practicing yoga. Many thanks to Cass, Kiel, and Kurtis for this opportunity and her amazing family for their endless support and love.
JOHANNA CARLISLE (Janis Curtis) is happy to be returning to ABT for the sixth time on our mainstage! ABT roles include: Widow Corney in Oliver!, Mrs. Strakosh in Funny Girl, Yente in Fiddler on the Roof, Madame Thernardier in Les Misérables and Miss Hannigan in Annie. She also has performed in many of our Theatre for Young Audience shows! LUTHER CHAKURIAN (J.D. Drew) is thrilled and grateful to be a part of Arizona Broadway’s 2017 production of Hands on A Hard Body. He is an actor who currently resides in Houston, Texas.  Some of his favorite roles include George in Sunday in the Park with George, Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha, Lawrence Jameson in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and the title role in Sweeney Todd for which he was awarded Best Actor in Houston 2007 by the Houston Press.
MADISON CICHON (Kelli Mangrum) is thrilled to make her way back to the ABT stage after being last seen in Shrek the Musical (2016), as well as Sound of Music (2009, Postulant Nun) and A Christmas Carol (2009, Peter Cratchit; 2010, Tiny Tim). She would like to take this opportunity to thank her vocal coach, Cassandra Klaphake, for helping her expand her abilities, her parents for all the support and love, and her wonderful grandparents, Arlene and Jay, for introducing her as a child to the art of theatre.
LARON LEE HUDSON (Ronald McCowan) Previous credits include A Christmas Carol Off-Broadway, Zuccotti Park at the 2016 fringe festival directed by Luis Salgado from On Your feet, Lysisarah at Hudson Warehouse, Animal Story, Rock of Ages, Ghost, Mary Poppins, American Idiot, and Hands on a Hardbody with Rex Smith. NICK HURM (Greg Wilhoite) is a graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he received a BFA in Musical Theater. Nick developed a passion for the performing arts at a very young age, in his hometown of Rockport, Indiana. He has been fortunate enough to perform in several of the largest theme parks in the country such as Busch Gardens, Hershey Park, and Cedar Point. Now, Nick is proud to perform in his second ABT production, having been seen previously in Jesus Christ Superstar, and will be staying on for ABT’s next production, Man of La Mancha.
JUSTIN JUTRAS (Benny Perkins) Previously at ABT: Bye Bye Birdie (Conrad Birdie), Grease (Kenickie), The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Duke), Camelot (Lancelot u/s). National Tours: Bullets Over Broadway (Cheech u/s), The Wedding Singer (Sammy), Grease! starring Frankie Avalon (Doody). Owned a Toyota pickup truck in 2002 and it died on the way to rehearsal. EDDIE MALDONADO (Jesus Peña) is thrilled to be back on the ABT stage. Eddie, a Phoenix native, is an Actor/Singer who enjoys his family time, adventuring around the world, and has a terrible sweet tooth. Regional: The bROCKway Experience (A/C Theatre Co.), Beauty and the Beast (ABT), Pageant (ABT), The Full Monty (AriZoni Award, ABT), Altar Boyz (NY Theatre Barn), La Cage Aux Folles (AriZoni Nom., PHX Theatre), Spamalot (AriZoni Award, PHX Theatre), Legally Blonde, The Musical (Prather Ent.). TV: Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Netflix). He is so grateful to ABT, his friends, and especially his Family, for all their love and unconditional support.
CAROLYN McPHEE (Virginia Drew) is positively elated to once again grace the stage here at ABT! Carolyn has been lucky to have performed in shows here at ABT since the first season in And the World Goes ‘Round. Some favorites are The Great American Trailer Park (Linoleum), 9 to 5: The Musical (Violet), I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (Woman 2), Pump Boys and Dinettes (Rhetta) and Forbidden Broadway (Liza/Barbra/Carol). Carolyn has also worked for Jeff Kennedy & iTheatre for five Christmases at the Herberger Theatre Center, and Smokey Joe’s Café at Phoenix Theatre (AriZoni nomination). Carolyn and her awesome husband foster kittens and help rehome found pets. Carolyn donates her entire salary to help with spay/neuter/dental costs of cats and dogs for people who cannot afford it and hopes to start a fund in 2018.
NICHOLAS MOULTON (Chris Alvaro) After spending the last 6 months cruising and performing with Carnival Cruise Lines out of LA, this New Hampshire native is elated to be back in this beautiful state with these wonderful people. He was seen here last spring getting rowdy as an Aggie in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and melting faces as Joey Primo (Drew u/s) in Rock of Ages. When not performing in musicals, Nick can be found playing bass and guitar at various venues such as 54 Below in NYC. Favorite roles include: Jerry (The Buddy Holly Story), Johnny (American Idiot), Gabe (Next to Normal). Thanks to Cass, Kiel, Kurtis, and the rest of the team for having me back for another gorgeous show, and Mom, Dad, Alex, Joel, and Hannah for their unrivaled support and love. Enjoy the show!!
ELEONORE S. THOMAS (Norma Valverde) loves a good contest and is excited to try and win a “slick lookin'” truck every night in Hands on a Hard Body! She was most recently seen on the ABT stage as Madame de la Grande Bouche (the opera singing wardrobe) in Beauty and the Beast.  Tours:  The Royal Christmas Tours starring Andrea Bocelli & Julie Andrews.  NYC: The Medium (Taksu Theatre Co.), Diet Monologues: The Musical (MITF), Fairy Tale (NYMF). Regional: Mrs. Fezziwig  A Christmas Carol  (Walnut Street Theatre), Bloody Mary South Pacific (Arizona Broadway Theatre), Mother Abbess Sound of Music (New Candlelight Theatre), Saraghina Nine (City Theatre Company). When not traveling the nation to perform, Eleonore can be found inspiring young minds in the sciences as an educator at the Delaware Museum of Natural History. ROB WATSON (Don Curtis/Dr. Stokes) is revved up to be on this road trip with the cast of Hands on a Hardbody! A University of Dayton graduate with degrees in Theatre and Religious Studies, he has been gainfully employed (much to the delight of his parents) as a performer, director, technician, educator and administrator in professional theatres across the country for over 20 years. While he normally remains behind the scenes as ABT’s Company Manager, he is no stranger to the stage. Previous credits include: Rock of Ages (Dennis), Annie Get Your Gun (Frank Butler), Sound of Music (Georg von Trapp), The Music Man (Harold Hill), Brigadoon (Jeff Douglas – ariZoni nomination), Pump Boys and Dinettes (Jim), The Secret Garden (Neville Craven), The Fantasticks (El Gallo), and City of Angels (Stone). Rob loves working in all aspects of the theatre and would like to thank Cassandra, Kiel, and Kurtis for affording him this opportunity, and he promises to get all his other work done.
