GEOFF BELLISTON (Governor/Innkeeper) is ecstatic to be back in the dungeon with this amazing cast! Most recently he was seen, though seldom heard, as Frank Nugent in Hands on a Hardbody. Previous favorite roles include Ghost of Christmas Present in A Christmas Carol (ABT/HTC), Shrek in Shrek the Musical (ABT), Governor/Innkeeper in Man of La Mancha (Westchester Broadway), Camber in Foolerie (NYMF), Dave in Full Monty (ABT, Mac Haydn), and Feldzieg in Drowsy Chaperone (ABT). Geoff can also be heard doing VO work in Yu-Gi-Oh, Arc-V and the upcoming animated series Adventures with Don & Janis. Many, many thanks to my second family here at Arizona Broadway, my first family – the Belliston clan, and all of my friends in my “Entourage.” This one’s for you, Annie Jo!
TONY BLOSSER (Lobillo/Anselmo) recently ran away to join the circus, but, after his own harrowing journey, he is back and thrilled to be joining the cast of Man Of La Mancha at ABT! He was last seen in the lobby walking quickly with a look of desperation on his face in the critically acclaimed role of House Manager. Other ABT shows include A Christmas Carol, Funny Girl, Shrek, Fiddler On The Roof, Lucky Stiff, And Secret Garden. A huge thank you to Cass, Kiel, Kurtis, Rob and the entire ABT family, especially my Front of House peeps, for welcoming me back with open arms! KATY CALLIE (Prisoner/Housekeeper Cover) is excited to be making her debut with Arizona Broadway Theatre! A native Tucsonan, she moved to Phoenix in 2008 and has been frolicking across valley stages ever since. She was last seen as Mrs. Wilkinson in Billy Elliot (MET). Katy is also a prolific choreographer, most recently working on The Addams Family (DFT). She holds a BFA in Dance from Arizona State University and loves being a part of the growing arts scene here in Arizona. TAYLOR CAPRARA (Antonia/Gypsy) is thrilled to be returning to the Arizona Broadway stage for its 13th season. Taylor is from Missoula, Montana, and made her ABT debut last season as the Strawberry Seller in Oliver! Favorite roles include Jane in Disney’s Tarzan (Fort Peck Theatre), Sandy in Grease! (Fort Peck Theatre), Brooke Wyndham in Legally Blonde: The Musical (University of Montana), Maria in The Sound of Music (MCT), and Hope Cladwell in Urinetown: The Musical (Missoula Community Theatre). Taylor couldn’t be happier to be back in Arizona and would like to thank her family for their never-ending support.
MAXXIMILLIAN CARLISLE-KING (Jose/Gypsy) is very excited to make his ABT debut! He recently graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC. As an Arizona native, he has been seen with many of the theatre companies in the Valley. Some of his favorite roles include Bill Bailey in Cats (Interlakes Theatre), Chuck Cranston in Footloose (Interlakes Theatre), and Billy Nolan in Carrie (Musical Theatre of Anthem). NICHOLAS HURM (Guitarrista/Quinto) is a graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he received a BFA in Musical Theater. Nick developed a passion for the performing arts at a very young age in his hometown of Rockport, Indiana. He has been fortunate enough to perform in several of the largest theme parks in the country such as Busch Gardens, Hershey Park, and Cedar Point. Now, Nick is proud to announce that he will be performing in his third ABT production, having been seen previously in Hands on a Hardbody and Jesus Christ Superstar.
CHAZ INGRAHAM (El Medico/Barber/Juan) is so thrilled to be back with ABT. Recent credits include (Sancho) Man of La Mancha, (Matt) Mr. Burns, (Judas) Superstar, (Enjolras) Les Mis. Soon to be appearing in the European Tour of Hair (Claude U/S & Ensemble). Chaz would like to thank his friends and family for an amazing year.
JOHN KNISPEL (The Scorpion/Pedro) is so humbled making his Arizona Broadway Theatre debut! His favorite credits include “Elvis Presley” in Million Dollar Quartet, “Ritchie Valens” In Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, “Lord Farquaad” in Shrek: The Musical, “Princeton” in Avenue Q, as well as Music Director of the University of Montana’s 2015 production of A Chorus Line. A Billings, Montana, native, John graduated from the University of Montana with degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education. John would like to give a huge thank you to his family, Paul, Berta, Jessica, and Anica, for being so supportive over the years.
JESSICA MEDOFF (Aldonza/Dulcinea) is thrilled to be making her Arizona Broadway Theatre debut with one of her favorite roles. Recently, she portrayed Mayor/Ma Fred in The Toxic Avenger Musical at Farmers Alley Theater, Desirée in A Little Night Music with The Princeton Festival, Mayzie in Seussical: The Musical and Heidi in [Title of Show] at Roxy Theater. She originated the roles of Paula Strasberg, Louella Parsons, and Jackie Kennedy in the world première of a new play, Marilee and Baby Lamb: The Assassination of an American Goddess at Rio Grande Theatre and starred in a new film, The Heart Outright. www.jessicamedoff.com for more!
ANDY MEYERS (Sancho Panza) has been involved in over 30 ABT productions, most recently appearing as Jean Shepherd (Narrator) in A Christmas Story, Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar, Grantaire in Les Misérables, Mr. Snow in Carousel and Oscar in Sweet Charity, and directing Oliver, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, The King and I (winner of 9 Broadway World Awards, including Best Director and Best Musical), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, The Secret Garden and Annie. In his home state of Montana, Andy is the Artistic Director of Fort Peck Summer Theatre, where he has led the company to record-breaking seasons, and he was previously Managing Director for Performing Arts at Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Staten Island, New York. Other performance credits include the national tours of Bus Stop and Annie and playing Dick in the 35th Anniversary NY revival of Dames at Sea. Andy is a graduate of Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Boston, Wagner College in NYC and holds his masters in Musical Theatre from the University of Montana. Later this season at ABT, Andy will be directing South Pacific and appearing in A Christmas Carol and Bridges of Madison County.
TAYLOR MOSKOWITZ (Graciosa/Fermina) is thrilled to be making her Arizona Broadway Theatre debut in Man of La Mancha! An Arizona local, her most recent roles around the Valley include Hope (Urinetown), Audrey (Little Shop of Horrors), Molly (Ghost), and Heather Duke (HEATHERS). With a BS in Nonprofit Management from ASU, Taylor is humbled to say she also pours passion into her day job at Make-A-Wish America. She is so grateful for her family and friends who give her unconditional love and support every single day!
MICHAEL O’BRIEN (Duke/Dr. Carrasco) is very excited to return to the ABT stage! Previous ABT credits include Carousel (Billy Bigelow), A Christmas Carol (Jacob Marley) and Les Misérables. Other regional performance credits include Putting It Together, 42nd Street, Young Frankenstein, La Cage Aux Folles, Les Misérables, Sunday In The Park, Children of Eden, Kiss Me, Kate, Anything Goes, Chicago and The Bakers Wife. JASON PLOURDE (Captain) Previously seen as Caiaphas (JCS), Jason Plourde is thrilled to be back at Arizona Broadway Theatre as the Captain (Man of La Mancha) and Commander Harbison (South Pacific). A versatile performer, Mr. Plourde has nearly 20 years’ experience in opera, theatre and musical theatre. Some notable credits include Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Verdi’s Falstaff and Macbeth, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (Jekyll and Hyde), Henry Higgins (My Fair Lady), Dr. Craven (The Secret Garden), Padre (Man of La Mancha), Tom (The Norman Conquests), Tony Wendice (Dial M for Murder), and Eddie (Lost in Yonkers). He has performed with the Indianapolis, Sarasota, Central City, and New York City Operas, the Winnipesaukee Playhouse, the Gretna and Broward Stage Door Theatres, the Missoula and Portland Symphony Orchestras, the Caramoor International Music Festival, and the Merola Opera Program at San Francisco Opera, where he created the role of Burton in Thomas Pasatieri’s The Hotel Casablanca. JAMES RIO (Cervantes/Don Quixote) revisits the title role in Man of La Mancha after previous productions in his home state of Connecticut and in Montana (Fort Peck Summer Theatre). ABT credits include Horace Vandergelder (Hello, Dolly!), Man in Chair (The Drowsy Chaperone), Saunders (Lend Me a Tenor), Carrière (Phantom), John Utterson (Jekyll & Hyde), Elisha Whitney (Anything Goes– Season Five) and Lt. Schrank (West Side Story). James has appeared nationwide and abroad in musical theatre, opera and on the concert stage. His European debut was in the Hal Prince production of The Phantom of the Opera in Hamburg, Germany. For nine years, James was on the managing staff at ABT where he has directed Camelot, Les Misérables, The Sound of Music, Into the Woods (BroadwayWorld.com – Best Director), The Odd Couple, Miracle on 34th Street and A Broadway Christmas Carol. Look for him at the Herberger in downtown Phoenix again this Christmas season as he reprises his role of Scrooge in ABT’s beautiful production of A Christmas Carol. Thank you, Kiel and Cass. MATTHEW RUFF (Padre/Judas/Tenorio) is delighted to be in Arizona for this amazing production. Matt is an NYC actor pursuing his passion for acting. He graduated from UF with his BFA in Musical Theater in ’15. Recent roles include Charles Ingalls (Laura Ingalls Tour NYC), Soapy Smith (Days of 98 show AK), Rev. Smith (Henry Box Brown NYC), Judge Turpin (Sweeney Todd FL), and Lil Jake (Annie Get Your Gun FL). He thanks God, his family, and his friends for their love and support.
BRAD RUPP (Torito/Paco/Inquisitor) is so happy to be back home on the ABT stage in this amazing show. He currently resides in Los Angeles and is an Arizona State University graduate. Favorites at ABT include Oklahoma!, Into the Woods, Sunset Boulevard, Carousel and Les Miserablés, among others. As always, thank you to Cass, Kiel, Kurtis, Rob, and everybody at ABT. MEGGIE SIEGRIST (Mother Bane/Maria/Housekeeper/Aldonza Cover) could not be happier to be back on the ABT stage with some of her favorite human beings at her home away from home. She was last seen at ABT in Oliver but also appeared in Jesus Christ Superstar, and A Christmas Story last season. She would like to thank the entire cast and crew who, as usual, put their hearts and souls into this production. She would also like to give a huge shoutout to Cass, Kiel, and Kurtis for always giving her an opportunity to grow as a person, and performer. Also thanks to Andy, just because.
