GEOFF BELLISTON (Bill Sykes) is ecstatic to be “home” on the ABT stage again so soon after having just rocked out in Jesus Christ Superstar (Apostle). Previous favorite roles include Ghost of Christmas Present in A Christmas Carol (ABT/HTC), Shrek in Shrek the Musical (ABT), Governor/Innkeeper in Man of La Mancha (Westchester Broadway), Camber in Foolerie (NYMF), Dave in Full Monty (ABT, Mac Haydn), and Feldzieg in Drowsy Chaperone (Arizona Broadway). Geoff recently has been getting into the voice acting world as well and can be heard in Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V and the upcoming animated series Adventures in Duckport. Many, many thanks to my second family here at Arizona Broadway, my first family – the Belliston clan, and all of my friends in my “Entourage.” This one’s for you, Annie Jo!

 

TAYLOR CAPRARA (Ensemble) is thrilled to making her ABT debut! Taylor is a Montana native who currently resides in Missoula. From a young age, she knew performing was her passion and the stage was her home. Before moving south for the spring, Taylor performed the role of Brooke Wyndham in the University of Montana’s production of Legally Blonde: The Musical and the role of Hope Cladwell in Missoula Community Theatre’s production of Urinetown: The Musical, which was directed by Arizona Broadway’s own Joseph Martinez. Some other favorite roles include Jane in Tarzan, Maria in The Sound of Music, Maggie in A Chorus Line, and Pauline in One Man Two Guvnors. Taylor could not be more grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank her family for their endless support of her pursuit of her crazy dream of performing; thanks to them, she is living the dream!

 

JOHANNA CARLISLE (Widow Corney/Ensemble) is happy to be returning to ABT for the fifth time on our mainstage! ABT roles include Mrs. Strakosh in Funny Girl, Yente in Fiddler on the Roof, Madame Thernardier in Les Misérables and Miss Hannigan in Annie. She also has performed in five of our Theatre for Young Audience shows! FRED GERLE (Mr. Brownlow/Ensemble) is making his second appearance at Arizona Broadway Theatre having been seen in last year’s hit Carousel (Starkeeper). He is ecstatic about his role in Oliver! Fred has also been seen lately in The Diary of Anne Frank (Mr. Dussel), the multi-film-festival winning Blackout (Viktor Maslov) and many other plays and musicals in the Valley of the Sun since 2003. He has recently returned from several months in New York, where he gained valuable experience in the theater arts. MEGAN GODIN (Fagin’s Gang/Ensemble) is thrilled to return to the ABT stage after appearing in Shrek the Musical (Shoemaker’s Elf) last summer. CASSANDRA NORVILLE KLAPHAKE (Nancy) began training for a career in the performing arts at a very early age. Her passion for theatre, combined with a flair for the dramatic, meticulous attention to detail, and superior standards of excellence, would unknowingly prepare her to one day lead the artistic wing of what has become one of Arizona’s leading professional theatre organizations. A former student of Patricia Craig (renowned American soprano of the Metropolitan Opera), Cassandra holds a Master of Music Degree in Voice from the New England Conservatory. An award-winning actress and musician, Cassandra has performed with opera companies and symphonies both nationally and abroad. Credits include the title role of Tosca with Rimrock Opera; Lilli Vanessi/Katherine in Kiss Me, Kate (ariZoni nomination), Lucy Harris in Jekyll and Hyde, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Grizabella in CATS, Drowsy in The Drowsy Chaperone, Truvy in Steel Magnolias, Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, The Witch in Into the Woods, Ursula in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar and Miss Mona in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, all with ABT. As Artistic Producer, Cassandra concentrates her efforts on current as well as future artistic goals with a specific focus on the development of new and exciting programs and events. She attributes Arizona Broadway Theatre’s success to the incredibly creative and dedicated employees that are the heart of ABT. Cassandra is also a mother of two exceptional young boys, Kieran and Tristan, her most beloved and well-played role to date.

 

RENÉE KATHLEEN KOHER (Mrs. Sowerberry/Ensemble/Nancy Cover) is so excited to be back on the ABT stage in this beautiful production! This marks her 15th show with ABT! BRADLEE LAIGHT (Noah/Ensemble) is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he grew up dancing at his family’s dance studio! He performed with the Rockettes in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, appeared on Good Morning America with fitness expert Denise Austin, and has won numerous regional and national dance competitions! A recent graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, his musical credits include Mungojerrie in CATS, Hazel Flagg Off Broadway and Chef Louie/Ensemble in The Little Mermaid! He’s so grateful for the love and support from his family and friends.

 

ANDY MEYERS (Mister Bumble/Director) happily returns to ABT, having previously performed this season as Jean Shepherd (Narrator) in A Christmas Story and King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar. His over 30 productions here include Oscar in Sweet Charity, Mr. Enoch Snow in Carousel, Uncle Max in The Sound of Music, Ernst in Cabaret, and serving as director for The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, The King and I, The Secret Garden, The Winter Wonderettes, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Annie, as well as choreographer for Les Misérables. Andy is currently Artistic Director of Fort Peck Summer Theatre in Montana and was previously Managing Director for Performing Arts at Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Staten Island, New York. As an actor he has appeared in the national tours of Annie and Bus Stop, and played Dick in the 35th Anniversary NY revival of Dames at Sea. Andy is a graduate of Wagner College in NY and holds his Masters in Music from the University of Montana.

 

JONATHAN NADOLNY (Fagin’s Gang/Ensemble) is thrilled to be making his debut at Arizona Broadway Theatre with Oliver! Hailing from NYC, some of his credits include Danny Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas (National Tour), Prince Dauntless in Once Upon a Mattress (St. Croix Theatre), and the title role in Super Sidekick the Musical (NYC Fringe Festival Encore Series Winner). Love to my family and best friends Amanda and Marty! Always keep dreaming!

 

LAUREN PALEY (Charlotte/Ensemble) is delighted to return to the Arizona Broadway Theatre stage and brush up on her Cockney accent for Oliver! Last seen in ABT’s Funny Girl, she has performed regionally in Carousel, White Christmas, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Oklahoma, and Hairspray and is so grateful for every experience. Lauren is a proud graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where she learned the art of woodshedding and received a BA in Theater and Dance. Very special thanks to Cass, Kiel and Kurtis for welcoming her and extending this new opportunity to her – one which she cherishes! She sends all her love to her Mom, Dad, Will and family for their never-ending support and love.

 

JAMIE PARNELL (Ensemble/Fagin Cover) A native of Montana, Jamie is delighted to be spending another spring season on ABT’s stage. Jamie studied vocal performance and has a BA-Theatre from the University of Montana. His first production at ABT was in 2009 in their production of A Christmas Carol and has since been involved in a number of their productions including Sweet Charity (Vittorio Vidal), Fiddler on the Roof (Perchik), Funny Girl (Nicky Arnstein), and Camelot (Lancelot). Jamie spends the summer months in Fort Peck, Montana, at the Fort Peck Summer Theatre where he serves as Residence Manager, Actor and Stage Manager. This one, like all the others, is for you, M.

 

TYLER PIRRUNG (Ensemble) is so happy to be returning to ABT for his second show! He holds his BA in Theatre from Florida State University. Tyler was previously seen on the ABT stage in the ensemble of Funny Girl. Other recent credits include Young Frankenstein (Igor), A Christmas Carol (Christmas Past), Hot Mikado (Ko-Ko), and Spring Awakening (Moritz). EDWARD PROSTAK (Fagin) is excited to be returning for his third appearance at ABT with this talented cast and crew; he previously played Scrooge in the 2008 and 2009 productions of A Christmas Carol. Ed made his Broadway debut in the revival of Oliver! starring Ron Moody and Patti LuPone. He appeared Off-Broadway in Zombies from the Beyond and in many productions with the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players, including The Mikado and HMS Pinafore. He has created roles in new shows for both the International Fringe Festival and New York Music Theatre Festivals. JAY ROBERTS (Mr. Sowerberry/Ensemble) is incredibly excited to be back in Arizona and in his first ABT mainstage show! Previously at ABT he performed in the Theatre for Young Audiences production of Charlie Brown Christmas and worked on the crew for A Christmas Story. Jay is finally applying his degree in architecture, designing a historical wing for the Pioneer Museum in Glasgow, Montana, and has been the scenic designer for several shows at Fort Peck Summer Theatre. A few of his previous roles include Arthur Kipps in The Woman in Black, the Padre in Man of La Mancha, Robertson Aye in Mary Poppins at the Fort Peck and Robert in Drowsy Chaperone at MCT in Missoula. Jay is looking forward to another wonderfully intense summer in Fort Peck and is overjoyed to be joining the ABT family. Thank you to Cass, Kurtis, and Andy for this amazing opportunity.

 

MEGGIE SIEGRIST (Mrs. Bedwin/Ensemble) is considering herself very lucky to be involved in picking a pocket or two every night on the ABT stage. She was last seen here in Jesus Christ Superstar but has also appeared as Mrs. Schwartz in A Christmas Story, Lucy in A Charlie Brown Christmas, and Taddy Joe in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Other credits include Mary Poppins (Winnifred Banks), 9 to 5 (Margaret u/s Dora Lee, Judy, and Violet), A Christmas Carol (Mrs. Cratchit), Leading Ladies (Audrey), and the best ensemble member in many shows across the country. She would like to thank the whole ABT family for putting their heart and soul into every detail of this production. A special shout out to Andy for letting her eat her weight in gruel every day and for putting all the oom-pah-pah into this show. BOBBY UNDERWOOD (Dr. Grimwig/Ensemble) is very happy to be back for his eighth show with Arizona Broadway Theatre. Previous ABT credits: Oklahoma! (Ali Hakim), Annie (Drake), The King & I (Kralahome), Lucky Stiff (Luigi), Fiddler on the Roof (Lazar Wolf), Rock of Ages (Hertz), and A Christmas Carol (Mr. Fezziwig) at the Herberger Theatre Center. Bobby also works as a stand-up comedian and has opened for Jim Gaffigan and Jerry Seinfeld. ALI WHITWELL (Bet/Ensemble) is thrilled to be back on the ABT stage! She was previously seen in on the ABT stage in Shrek, Funny Girl, and Church Basement Ladies. Some of her favorite previous credits include Julia Sullivan in Wedding Singer, Joanne Jefferson in RENT, Logainne in Spelling Bee (All at SYT), and Pattie in Smokey Joe’s Cafe (DFT). Ali was the winner of the 2015 Arizona Young Artist’s Vocal Competition and recently became a Merit Winner for the National Young Arts Competition in theatre. She would like to thank Kurtis and Cassandra for giving her such an amazing opportunity, Mark and Lynzee 4man for always pushing her to be her best, her family and best friend, Mason, for their never ending support, and, finally, everyone at ABT for welcoming her into this unbelievable family.

 

MEGAN WILTSHIRE (Ensemble) is thrilled to be making her debut at Arizona Broadway Theatre. A theatre artist based out of Missoula, Montana, Megan holds a BA in both Drama and Dance from the University of Montana. Recent credits include Choreographer for Urinetown: the Musical at Missoula Community Theatre, Phantom in Rocky Horror Show for the Montana Actor’s Theatre, Mrs. Brill in Mary Poppins, and Director of My Way, both at Fort Peck Summer Theatre. CORBAN ADAMS (Oliver Twist) is so excited to be back on the ABT stage again this season! Other roles Corban has enjoyed playing are Randy in A Christmas Story at ABT, Charlie Bucket in Willy Wonka Jr. at Spotlight Youth Theater, and the Prince in Thumbelina, also at SYT. Corban is a 5th-grade honors student at Cactus View Elementary and also enjoys playing the trumpet and singing with the musical group, Confetti. Corban would like to thank the ABT staff for this amazing opportunity!

 

LYDA ARMISTEAD (Fagin’s Gang) is honored to return to Arizona Broadway Theatre as one of Fagan’s gang! ABT credits include A Christmas Story (Mary Beth), Shrek the Musical (Young Fiona/Tap Dancing Rat), and Carousel (Snow Child). She has also played at Phoenix Theatre in The Wizard of Oz (Braggart/Ozian). Youth theatre credits include Annie Jr. (Annie), Sound of Music (Maria), Beauty and the Beast Jr. (Cogsworth), Willy Wonka Jr. (Violet), and others. KAMERON COCHRANE (Fagin’s Gang) is thrilled to be returning to Arizona Broadway Theatre’s stage for the production of Oliver as a member of Fagin’s Gang. He was recently seen in ABT’s productions A Christmas Story as Flick and Carousel as a Snow child. Some of his favorite roles include Sea Creature in A Little Mermaid, Rooster in Annie Jr. and Robbie Cratchit in A Christmas Carol. He also appears in films, plays the piano and is a brown belt in karate. KIERA CROUCH (Fagin’s Gang) is thrilled to be back at ABT after spending her holiday at the Herberger playing Grace Smith in A Christmas Carol. She is a 12-year-old homeschooler who loves singing, acting and playing piano. Before the holiday, she was Violet in Spotlight Youth Theatres production of Willy Wonka. Other favorite productions include Marta in The Sound of Music (ABT), Nellie in Annie Get Your Gun (SYT) and Becky in Walking Dead in the West (Winter’s film group). EVAN CULBERTSON (Charley Bates) is an 8th-grade student at Heritage Elementary. Earlier this season he enjoyed performing as Scut Farkus in ABT’s A Christmas Story. Other favorite roles include Prince Charming in The Fairytale Courtroom and Grandpa Joe in Willie Wonka Jr., both at Spotlight Youth Theater. Evan is grateful for the opportunity to be back at ABT and is excited to be a part of this amazing cast.

 
AMY FISHENCORD (Fagin’s Gang) is a 7th grader at Foothills Elementary School and is excited to be in her second production with ABT! Most recently she was School Boy in A Christmas Story, The Musical. Other favorite performances include Alice In Wonderland, Jr. (Cheshire Cat-NYA Nomination), Honk, Jr. (Dot), Rugrats (Phil), The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Pee Wee, Thelma, Claudia), all at Spotlight Youth Theatre. She has also performed at Theatreworks in Charlotte’s Web (Old Sheep) and Twilight’s Quest (Bucket). Amy would like to thank her family, the cast and crew, and hopes you all enjoy the show!

 

FOSTER HILDING (Artful Dodger) is ecstatic to be making his debut at ABT! Foster is 14 and an 8th grader at ACAA. Some of his best-loved roles include Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka Jr., The Mad Hatter on Alice In Wonderland, Ringo in Cinderella, A Rock ‘n Roll Fairytale, The DA in Fairytale Courtroom, (all Spotlight Youth Theatre.) He has recently enjoyed commercial roles in The Skeleton God, Invisible, OMG History and San Luis Obispo Confidential. Foster also co-hosts The Dare Brothers on YouTube. In his free time, he plays guitar, sings and sketches. He would like to thank Kiel and Cassandra, Kurtis, Andy, Rob and everyone here at ABT for this incredible opportunity!

 

VINCENT JACOVO (Fagin’s Gang) is thrilled to be working with ABT again. He played Flounder in Little Mermaid and Gavroche in Les Mis. He is also excited to have a role in an Oliver production for the second time. He was honored to play Oliver with the Phoenix Symphony and Phoenix Theaters collaboration performance a couple of years ago in which he received a National Youth Awards nomination. Additional memorable roles have been Jojo and Mowgli with the Valley Youth Theatre and a young Scrooge at Peoria Theatre Works. SABRINA KIEPKE (Fagin’s Gang) is thirteen years old and attends online school at Insight Academy of AZ. Sabrina is excited to be back on the ABT stage after her debut performance this past November as the School Girl, Helen Weathers, in A Christmas Story The Musical. Since the age of seven, she has been a part of many youth theatre productions in both Arizona and California. Favorite past roles include: Kim MacAfee (Bye Bye Birdie), Witch (Into the Woods Jr.), Miss Hannigan (Annie) and Ensemble (13 –The Musical). She enjoys vlogging, shopping and binge watching Netflix. Sabrina would like to express endless gratitude to her wonderful and supportive family and friends. KIERAN KLAPHAKE (Charley Bates) is thrilled to return to the ABT stage! He starred most recently as Scut Farkus in last year’s A Christmas Story. Kieran made his ABT debut at the age of nine in Joseph…Dreamcoat and has literally grown up on this stage, playing such great roles as Flounder in The Little Mermaid, Louis in The King and I, and flying through Neverland as John Darling in Peter Pan. ABT Academy shows include Shrek, Jr., Squirm!, Disney’s The Jungle Book, Disney’s 101 Dalmatians and Alice in Wonderland. Kieran is also a proud member of Spotlight Youth Theatre’s performance troupe “Music and Motion”. In addition to singing, he enjoys practicing piano and trumpet, playing Xbox and hanging out with his three-legged rescue dog, Django.

 

TRISTAN KLAPHAKE (Oliver Twist) After making his and everyone else’s Christmas wish come true as Ralphie in last year’s A Christmas Story, breaking hearts four shows a week as Gavroche in ABT’s acclaimed production of Les Misérables, swimming with Ariel as Flounder in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, and melting Scrooge’s cold heart as Tiny Tim in 2015’s A Christmas Carol, ten-year-old Tristan is “super excited” to return to the ABT main stage in this classic role! Other favorites include Michael Darling in Peter Pan; The Narrator in Three Piggy Opera; The Itsy Bitsy Spider in Squirm!; and the Littlest Monkey in Disney’s The Jungle Book (all ABT Academy). Additional shows include Shrek, Jr., Joseph…Dreamcoat (ABT) and Alice in Wonderland (MCT). Tristan is also a proud member of Spotlight Youth Theatre’s performance troupe “Music and Motion”. When he is not performing, Tristan enjoys playing drums and all things Harry Potter.

 

CAELAN KOTH (Fagin’s Gang) His enthusiasm for musical theater began at the age of 10 when his older sister convinced him to audition with her for ABT’s production of The King and I, where they were both cast as Royal Children of Siam. Since then, Caelan has also been a part of ABT’s productions of Little Mermaid (youth ensemble), Christmas Carol (Peter Cratchit), Carousel (Snow child), and Shrek: The Musical (young Shrek, Baby Bear, rat tapper, and Grumpy the dwarf), A Christmas Story (Flick) and Camelot (Tom). In addition to musical theater, Caelan loves playing lacrosse and creating videos for his YouTube channel (CeeJay Vlogs). He is thankful to God and his family for believing in and supporting him. He would also like to thank Cassandra and Kurtis for giving him the opportunity to be part of such a beautiful show!

 

KAI NUNZIATO-CRUZ (Fagin’s Gang) is excited to be in his second show at ABT! He loves being on stage and making so many amazing friends. Kai is an 11-year-old fifth grader at Highland Lakes Elementary School. You may have recently seen him in ABT’s A Christmas Story (Schwartz). He has also performed in six shows at Spotlight Youth Theater (SYT) – South Pacific (Jermone), Willy Wonka Jr. (Augustus Gloop), The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Charlie), Alice in Wonderland (The King of Hearts), Honk Jr. (Duckling) and Ramona Quimby. Kai would like to thank ABT and Kenny Grossman at SYT for all the amazing opportunities to learn about theater and hone his craft. He hopes you enjoy the show!

 

JACOB SHIPLEY (Fagin’s Gang) is a 7th-grade student in the Renaissance Academic and Arts program at Highland Lakes School.  Jacob enjoys being a member of the chorus and was named to the all-state choir.  Jacob was a member of the Phoenix Boys Choir for three years and began his acting and singing with Moezart Productions as Winthrop in Music Man. In his spare time, Jacob likes to play video games and hang out with his friends.  Oliver will be the fifth show Jacob has been a part of at Arizona Broadway Theater; he loves the staff and cast members he has been blessed to be working with the past three years.  Jacob would like to thank his family for supporting him through all the acting and singing opportunities he has been given.

 

ZACHARY SNYDERS (Fagin’s Gang) is in 8th grade at Explorer Middle School. He is co-president of the Drama Club and co-captain of the Improv Troupe. Zachary has enjoyed acting since age four and has been in several productions around the valley including as Buddy in Elf, The Musical and Flat Stanley in The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley. Zachary was last seen as the March Hare in Alice in Wonderland at VYT. This is Zachary’s debut at Arizona Broadway Theatre.

 

CALLISTA WALKER (Fagin’s Gang) is so happy to be back at ABT! Previous ABT performances include A Christmas Story (Esther Jane); Shrek (Young Fiona); White Christmas (Susan Waverly); Peter Pan (Michael Darling); Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; and Annie (Molly). Some of Callista’s favorite performances around town are The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy) at Copperwood Elementary School; Freckleface Strawberry (Strawberry) at Foothills Fine Arts Academy; The Music Man (Amaryllis) at Peoria High School; Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR (Cheshire Cat); Narnia, the Musical (Lucy); and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Beth) at Spotlight Youth Theatre. Callista would like to thank the fantastic ABT directors for this wonderful opportunity. She also thanks Kenny Grossman (SYT) for his support and direction over the years, and she thanks her family for their love and support.

 

ZOEY WALLER (Fagin’s Gang) is excited to be back on the ABT stage after performing in A Christmas Story The Musical as Mary Beth. She has recently been seen in School of Rock The Musical, South Pacific, and Willy Wonka Jr. at Spotlight Youth Theater. When Zoey isn’t singing and dancing, she enjoys playing the piano, guitar, and bass guitar. She would like to thank Cassandra, Kurtis, Rob, and Andy for this amazing opportunity. She would also like to thank her voice teacher Christy Welty, her loving parents, and her amazing sister Maggie. Enjoy the show!

 

BRODY WURR (Artful Dodger) is honored to perform at ABT! Brody, 14, is an ariZoni and National Youth Arts award nominee and NYA’s 2016 Junior Artist of the Year. Favorite roles include Archie in 13 The Musical and Donkey in Shrek Jr. the Musical (Musical Theatre of Anthem). Enjoy the show!
