MARK ALPERT (Frank, Jr.) This is Mark’s first production with Arizona Broadway Theatre. Mark has proudly spent the past two years on the road performing with the National Tour of Ragtime (Houdini) and the National Tour of Jekyll & Hyde (Archibald Proops). Mark is a graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Favorite roles include Evita (Che) at The Broadway Palm, Spamalot (Sir Galahad) at Surflight Theatre, Sweeney Todd (Anthony) at The Crown Uptown Theatre, and

NICK ANASTASIA (Bobby), aka “Jersey”, is ecstatic to return to ABT, his first home away from home! Nick could most recently be seen as Jerry in Burt & Me at Florida Studio Theatre and will continue his work with the Monster Jam live motorsports show as an on-camera host/announcer in the Fall. Past professional credits include Voca People (Tenoro, Off-Broadway*/National/International Tours), The Love Note (Adam, Original Off-Broadway Cast), In the Heights (Sonny, Regional Premiere), Scab (featuring Alice Ripley), Disney Cruise Line (Disney Fantasy), Little Women (Laurie), Snow (Kyle, World Premiere), and bare (Jason, Licensed Premiere). Past ABT credits include Baby: The Musical (Danny), Footloose (Bickle), and Miss Saigon. Nick is a proud member of Actors’ Equity. *Lucille Lortel Award
KABLE BARNHART (Ensemble) is thrilled to be joining ABT this summer! An Idaho native, Kable currently resides in Manhattan. Credits include Thoroughly Modern Millie, Broadway Rose Theatre; The Music Man, Coeur D’Alene; Disney’s The Little Mermaid, CST; Mary Poppins, Central Theatre. A recent graduate of Central Washington University, he received a BFA in Musical Theatre. Love to Mom and Dad!
JOSH COTHAM (Gus) is thrilled to be making his Arizona Broadway Theatre début! Originally from Springfield, Missouri, Josh just had his one-year anniversary in New York City where he’s been training at Broadway Dance Center. Some favorite credits from Springfield include IQ in Hairspray (Tent Theatre), Ernst in Spring Awakening (Springfield Contemporary Theatre), and a Tribe Member in Hair (Missouri State University). Huge thanks to Mom, Olivia, Alex, Grandma Rosemary, and countless others that have supported and continue to support him in his journey!
TREY DEGROODT (Ensemble) is a 19-year old local to Arizona. He has been seen onstage at ABT in Shrek, Legally Blonde, and A Christmas Story. Other credits include Paul (A Chorus Line), Roger (RENT), La Cienaga (Bring it On) and many more at Spotlight Youth Theatre. When not on stage, you can find him behind the chair doing hair at Aquarius Hair and Nail Salon. He’d like to thank his family, Rylee, and Matthew for all they do.
EJ DOHRING (Ensemble) is happy to return to ABT for a summer of “dry heat.” EJ was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and is a rising senior at CCM’s BFA Musical Theatre Major. His favorite professional credits include Tarzan in Disney’s Tarzan and Peter Pan in Shrek The Musical at Fort Peck Summer Theatre, Kit Kat Boy (u/s Emcee) in Cabaret at Lake Dillon Theatre Company, and Ralph in Kiss Me, Kate and Fender (u/s Link) in Hairspray at the Arizona Broadway Theatre.
JESSICA DORCEY (Ensemble) is so excited to be joining the Arizona Broadway Theatre family! LYNZEE 4MAN (Ensemble) is thrilled to be back here with Arizona Broadway Theatre! Lynzee was last seen in as Mary in Jesus Christ Superstar on the ABT Stage, at Phoenix Theatre as Daniela in In the Heights, and as June in Chicago. She was also at Arizona Broadway Theatre as Brooke Wyndham in Legally Blonde. Some of her favorite roles include Erma in Anything Goes (Phoenix Theatre), Lina Lamont in Singin’ in the Rain, Pippi in Trailer Park the Musical (both at ABT), and Maureen in RENT at Nearly Naked Theatre. When not performing herself, she is blessed to work with the Valley’s best youth talent at Spotlight Youth Theatre and also find time to ride her reining horses. ROBYN MICHELE FRANK (Pauline) is thrilled to be making her Arizona Broadway Theatre début in Saturday Night Fever! Select credits include I’ll Say She Is (Off-Broadway revival); 9 to 5, Kiss Me, Kate, and Young Frankenstein (Weathervane Repertory Theatre, NH); No Provenance (Ilana) at NYC Fringe; The Berenstain Bears Live! DARREN FRIEDMAN (Frank) is proud to be returning to the stage at ABT. Originally from Edison, NJ, Darren has been residing in Phoenix for the past 20 years. Mr. Friedman is experienced performing and teaching both classical and Musical Theater repertoire. He has performed with the Arizona Opera, Phoenix Theater, Herberger Theater, and AZ Jewish Theater. Mr. Friedman earned his BA in Music from Arizona State University, an MM in Musical Theater from the Boston Conservatory and has been an Arizona State certified music teacher for the past four years. Darren currently maintains his own vocal studio, where he trains singers of all ages proper vocal technique and performance skills that will help them land their next “big” role. Mr. Friedman would like to express his heartfelt thanks to the ABT artistic staff for having him be a part of Saturday Night Fever.
KATIE HART (Candy/Ensemble) is very happy to be joining ABT for the first time! BFA from Webster University. Recent credits include Annie, Camelot, and Footloose (all with The Muny St. Louis); Pride@Prejudice (Southwest Shakespeare); Dead Mum in Billy Elliot (Phoenix Theatre), and Janis Joplin in Beehive (Phoenix Theatre). JACOB HERRERA (Ensemble) is 19 years old and is studying Music Education at GCC. He has a passion for musical theatre and has performed in several theater productions around the valley such as The King and I, Hairspray, Little Shop of Horrors, High School Musical, Annie Get Your Gun, The Wedding Singer, “13” The Musical, 42nd Street, South Pacific and was most recently seen as Chad in All Shook Up at DFT and Warner Huntington III in Legally Blonde at SYT. Jacob is also a member of Pitches and Tones at Spotlight Youth Theatre. He would like to thank his family, Mark and Lynzee 4man, Cassandra, Kiel, Kurtis, and the many others who have supported and encouraged him! Enjoy the show!
DEANNA JELARDI (Annette) is thrilled to be making her ABT début with such a talented cast and crew! Her most recent credits include Rizzo (Grease) and Diana Morales (A Chorus Line) at The Springer Opera House in Columbus, Georgia. She also recently made her New York Off-Broadway début in a new play, The Defendant Maurice Chevalier, playing Nita Raya. Deanna would like to thank ABT for this incredible experience as well as her parents, family, friends, and Sean for all their endless love and support.
ANTHONY MARTINEZ (Ensemble/Monty/Fusco) is beyond thrilled to be making his ABT debut! A native New Yorker and alum of FTC and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, he’s looking forward to Boogie, Hustle and Electric Slide all over the place. Past credits include Dennis (All Shook Up), Malcolm (The Full Monty), Leaf Coneybear (Spelling Bee), The Boss (Side Show) and Al (A Chorus Line). LAUREN MORGAN (Ensemble) is excited to be in her fourth ABT show this season. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, she was previously seen in Beauty and the Beast, Jesus Christ Superstar, Camelot, Rock of Ages, White Christmas as Rhoda, The Producers, and Hairspray as Lou Ann. Favorite regional theater credits include Mary Poppins, Cats, Anything Goes, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Chicago. She has a BFA in Dance from Wright State University. Enjoy the show!
SARAH PANSING (Linda/Ensemble) is 16 years old and so excited to be making her ABT début in SNF! She is a junior at Arizona School for the Arts where she plays trombone in the Central Brass Quintet. Sarah is the recipient of the 2017 Vocal Arizona Young Artist Competition and the Arizona Broadway Theatre Scholarship Award at the Herberger Theater Center. Her favorite roles include Whatsername in American Idiot (SYT), Eponine in Les Misérables (TheatreWorks), Martha in The Secret Garden (VYT) and Anne Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank (Hale Center Theatre – Zoni nom). Sarah would like to thank Cass, Kiel, and Kurtis for this amazing opportunity as well as Tom, Kelli, Mark & Lynzee, Duane, Nick and her family and good friends for their never-ending support and love.
