ABT’s Academy for Young Performers provides children interested in the performing arts the opportunity to explore their creativity and expand their imagination. All classes focus on acting, music, and movement instruction. Classes are great for beginners but are also effective for those with theatre experience.
ABT’s Academy for Young Performers INSTILLS and INSPIRES young people to develop an appreciation for the performing arts through education and exploration of those theatre skills. Our qualified staff is excited to TEACH, MENTOR, and MONITOR our young performers during their time with us. We pride ourselves on NURTURING the creative minds and artistic thoughts of all young performers!
Summer 2023 Academy
Children, pre-teens, and teens can discover the world of theatre this summer at ABT’s Academy for Young Performers. From Monday to Friday, for either one or two weeks, campers will learn theatre warm-ups and games, audition for roles, and learn about staging, choreography, and music with professional artists as their instructors. They will also get behind-the-scene experience as they create costumes, props, and sets, and all will receive a role in the production and perform on the Saturday following the last day of their camp.
ABT’s Youth Academy is a great way to help your child with working in groups, improving communication skills, promoting self-motivation and discipline as well as building confidence.
