Master Class Workshops

Learn from inspiring creatives in our new Master Class Series featuring artists and directors from New York City!

For each production, Arizona Broadway Theatre will provide a unique workshop for teens and adults to build acting or dance and audition skills with in-person sessions with the production’s artistic professionals.

Current Workshop: 6-Week Intermediate Dance Class with the amazing Lauran Stanis!

Calling all dancers aged 13-19 or those with 2 years of dance training! This is YOUR chance to refine and expand your dance skills at Arizona Broadway!

What to Expect:

When: Mondays April 1-May 3

Time: 7-8:30 p.m.

Price: $120 for all 6 weeks or $25 per class

Lauran Stanis is a local choreographer and dance educator. Some of her choreography credits include White Christmas, Escape to Margaritaville, A Christmas Carol, and Happy Days (Arizona Broadway Theatre), The Prom, A Chorus Line, and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (The Phoenix Theatre Company), Additionally, she has created choreography for Mesa Community College Circa ’21 Dinner Theatre, and Fort Peck Summer Theatre. Lauran is the dance teacher at Metro Tech High School were, in 2020, she was awarded the Arizona Dance Educator of the Year, and in 2021 she was nominated for the Arizona Governor’s Arts Award in Arts Education. Lauran holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Millikin University, MA in Dance Education from University of Northern Colorado, and MFA in Dance from Montclair State University where she focused on the intersection of musical theatre dance and film.
