Liz was last seen skating around singing pop-rock in Xanadu. She was most recently seen in The Encore Room in the hilarious A Broadway Christmas Carol and paying tribute to Frank Sinatra in My Way. Other favorite Arizona Broadway credits include Fanny Brice in Funny Girl, Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical, and Charity Hope Valentine in Sweet Charity. Liz is a St. Louis native, who graduated in 2012 with her BFA in Musical Theatre/Dance from Millikin University. So much love and many, many thanks to the entire ABT family.


Stephen recently moved to Phoenix and is thrilled to be considered a new member of this vibrant theatre community.  His past ABT credits include Hanna in La Cage Aux Folles, Mordred in Camelot, A Broadway Christmas Carol, Sweeney Todd, Fiddler on the Roof, and Mary Poppins.  National Tours: The Full Monty, Sesame Street, Live!, and Pinkalicious.  Other regional theatre credits: The Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz (Vital Theatre Co.),  Frank Schultz in Show Boat (Prather Productions), Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing…Dreamcoat (Palace Theatre Wisconsin Dells), Broward Stage Door Theatre, Surflight Theatre, Hope Summer Rep., and two seasons at The Ft. Peck Summer Theatre.  Stephen teaches musical theatre and audition technique at Actor’s Youth Theatre in Gilbert.  Much gratitude to the ABT family who continues to support the arts in immeasurable ways.


Some of her favorite ABT credits include  The Addams Family (Morticia), Xanadu (Calliope), Disney’s Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins), Kiss Me, Kate (Lily/Katherine), A Christmas Carol (Ghost Of Christmas Past), Best Little Whorehouse In Texas (Doatsy Mae), Camelot (Nimue/Morgan LeFay), Carousel (Mrs. Mullins), Fiddler On The Roof (Fruma Sarah), Rock of Ages, Hair, The Bridges of Madison County, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Disney’s Tarzan.  Other favorite regional credits include The Marvelous Wonderettes (Missy), Cabaret (Sally Bowles), 9 to 5 (Violet), Pippin (Fastrata), The Secret Garden (Rose), Godspell, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, and  Sister Act. Renée has also been seen around the valley performing with The Rhythm Cats at Silver Star Theater as well as playing the role of June Carter in Darlin Companion with Showtune Productions. During this period of quarantine, Renée has kept herself busy with many virtual readings with Virtual Theater Lab and performing her two-man show Music Of The Night through BrockPro Entertainment. Renée has worked for multiple years with Disney Cruise Line and Tokyo Disney Resort as a singer and aerialist in multiple shows on the high seas and in Japan. A huge thank you to Mom, Dad, Ryan, and boyfriend Nick for always supporting her dreams, to Cass, Kiel, and Kurtis for being such an incredible family.


Nick is thrilled to be back on stage after all we have been through! As a local actor, he has been seen on ABT’s stage in Mamma Mia (Sky), Xanadu (Terpsichore), Camelot (Sir Lionel), A Christmas Carol (Fred), Hair (Ensemble, Claude u/s) just to name a few. Outside of Arizona, he has done The Fantasticks (Matt), Godspell (Jeffery track), A Christmas Carol (Young Scrooge), The Bully (Steve). Nick would love to thank the entire ABT team for the opportunity to reinsert LIVE theatre back into the community. Lastly, he would love to give a huge shoutout to his family, friends, and girlfriend Renée, for their never-ending support. Stay safe and healthy, everyone!


Carolyn last graced the Mainstage as Mme. Dindon in the hilarious La Cage aux Folles and portrayed Mrs. Hobbs in Elf The Musical. Carolyn was honored to be part of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Fort Peck Summer Theatre in Montana in Mamma Mia (Donna). Last year, Carolyn was in the amazing An American In Paris (Mme. Baurel) here at ABT and at the Herberger. Other ABT favorites include Forbidden Broadway (Carol/Liza/Barbra), Titanic (Ida Strauss), Catch Me If You Can (Paula), Bridges of Madison County (Marge), Hands on a Hardbody (Virginia), A Christmas Story (Mother), and The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Linoleum). Other local favorites include The Best Little Whorehouse… (Miss Mona) (AZ&FL), Anything Goes (Reno) in AZ & FL (ariZoni nomination), and the PEG tour of CATS (Grizabella). Carolyn donates her entire salary to help with spay/neuter/dental costs of cats and dogs for people who cannot afford it.


Jamie Michael Parnell (University of Montana), a new Phoenix local, was last seen on ABT’s stage as Georges in La Cage Aux Folles.  The opportunity to perform for Arizona Broadway Theatre is always a pleasure, now more than ever.  Currently teaching courses at Actor’s Youth Theatre in Gilbert as well as private acting classes, Jamie has worked around the nation both on and off-stage as an actor, stage manager, technical director, company manager, and teaching artist.  Favorite roles include Dr. Frank-n-furter – Rocky Horror, Nicky Arnstein – Funny Girl, Bob Crachit – A Christmas Carol, Lancelot – Camelot, Mr. Banks – Mary Poppins, Ravenal – Show Boat. Thank you, especially in these unprecedented times, for supporting live theatre.  We’re better together.


Morgan Springer returns to the Arizona Broadway Theatre after spending the last 7 years performing and sailing around the world with Disney Cruise Line. At ABT, you may remember seeing Morgan as Dolly Levi in Hello, Dolly!, and also as Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street, Carlotta in Phantom, Vi Moore in Footloose, Vicki Nichols in The Full Monty, or Mazeppa in Gypsy. Outside of ABT, Morgan has also toured the US and Canada in Titanic the Musical, as Meg Brockie in Brigadoon, and as Paulette in Legally Blonde. Morgan has also spent a great deal of time in stage management booths, both at ABT and onboard Disney Cruise Line. She also has an extensive teaching background and loves sharing her passion for theatre with students of all ages!
