What’s better than spending a Sunday morning with friends and family and the delicious aromas of freshly baked breads, an array of delicious entrées, and desserts all while enjoying live entertainment? Arizona Broadway Theatre and the City of Peoria have come together to celebrate food and the arts in the community with Sunday Brunch at The ENCORE. The $29, monthly two-hour event features amazing local talent from opera singers, pianists, guitarists, jazz musicians, and more. Bar service starting at 10:00 AM featuring Mimosas and Bloody Marys will be available throughout the event.

NOV 17, 2019:  Curt Cichon, Flamenco Guitar

Curt Cichon is a Flamenco/Rumba-style Guitarist that has been playing for over 25 years. With the intense rhythms, strumming, and scale runs, his sound is guaranteed to be a beautiful and intense sound to the ears. Playing many other styles such as Bossanova, Classical, Jazz, and Pop and many others, diversity is key. Curt had studied in Sevilla, Spain learning how to accompany Flamenco singers and Flamenco dancers thus creating the cohesive sounds blending all three aspects to create the magic or “Duende” in the room.

We3 performed their very first concert together on October 1, 2016, at the Nash in downtown Phoenix. An undeniable chemistry was recognized, and the group continued to perform sold out shows at the MIM and Phoenix Theatre along with recording their first full length CD, “We’ll Meet Again”. These ladies are a powerhouse of talents combined, featuring vocalist Renee Grant Patrick (daughter to the late George Grant of the world famous Ink Spots), violinist Suzanne Lansford, and pianist Nicole Pesce. They have appeared on AZTV’s Channel 7 as the “Best of the Daily Mix” and made special appearances at the Chandler Jazz Festival and AZ Classic Jazz Festival, paying tribute to timeless tunes with new and familiar interpretations of popular, jazz, swing, blues standards, and so much more.
