We’ve missed you! We hope this finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented times for everyone in our community, and, now more than ever, we all look to the arts to provide an entertaining escape and source of joy.
The past few months have been incredibly challenging, and the financial losses from the pandemic are impacting our theatre significantly. The outpouring of support we’ve received through your emails, phone calls, and financial contributions has meant the world to us. Your words and actions have fueled us to continue on and are appreciated now more than ever. We believe that by working together we will continue to be at the heart of our culturally rich community.
In light of the Covid-19 constraints, we have indefinitely postponed the remainder of our Season 15 productions. This credit will remain on your account for you to use for a variety of purchasing options or donate to the theatre to ensure ABT’s successful future. As many of you know, our production of Chicago was forced into an intermission after four dazzling performances. This coming year is very uncertain and trying to produce large productions like Chicago is a very costly and complicated venture. Our hope is that we charge ahead through this period of uncertainty together to welcome the production of Chicago in the Fall of 2021. The set is on the stage, the costumes still hanging on the rack, and the actors are in the wings – stick with us, we will make it to Chicago!
We have revised our Season 16 (now referred to as “2021 Season”) and replaced it with a dynamic new line up, and we’d love for you to be the first to know!
